why we don't have this musical on dvd, i'll never understand. it all washes over me from time to time, i just can't get over it. i had no chance to see it live and now i'll never see it at all. well, thanks for the original Broadway cast album anyway.

and while we're at it, i would really like to see The Civil War as well. come on, i need me at least a bootleg recording - the best i can find is Freedom's Child performed by the cast at the 1998 Tonys, (beautiful) Linda Eder (beautifully) singing (beautiful) I Never Knew His Name (man does this song get me all choked up) at a concert, and some high school performances.
